When does the EMT Academy open for enrollment?

We are targeting our first cohort for August/September 2026, pending Texas DSHS program approval. Join the waitlist and you will be the first to know when applications open.

How much is EMT school tuition?

EMT (Basic) tuition is $2,500 all-inclusive. It covers the course, your digital textbook and online platform, skills labs, clinical rotation coordination, exams, and your application and registration fees. There is nothing extra to add.

Is there a shorter course before EMT?

Yes. Our Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) course is $650 all-inclusive and is the entry-level EMS certification. If you continue into the EMT program, your full EMR tuition applies toward EMT, so you just pay the difference.

What is the schedule like?

The program is hybrid: coursework is completed online, paired with hands-on, in-person skills days, followed by hospital clinical and ambulance field rotations. It is designed to fit around work schedules.

Who teaches the classes?

Classes are led by Wesley Thompson, a Licensed Paramedic, firefighter-paramedic, and Texas EMS Instructor who has trained the DFW community since 2016, alongside experienced EMS instructors and a physician Medical Director.

What happens after I graduate?

Graduates are eligible to take the National Registry (NREMT) exam, the certification used to become a licensed EMT in Texas. EMT certification is also the first step toward paramedic, fire, nursing, and other healthcare careers.

How much does a CPR class cost?

Classes start at $40 per person, with a group rate of $50 per person for CPR/AED certification for organizations. We train at your home, business, church, or school anywhere in the Fort Worth and DFW area.

Do you come to our location for CPR training?

Yes. On-site training is our specialty. We bring all equipment to your home, office, church, daycare, or facility anywhere in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

What does the AED maintenance plan include?

For $3,000 per AED per year, the plan includes replacement pads and batteries before they expire, monthly readiness inspections, physician medical direction, compliance documentation, and 10 free CPR certification cards per AED annually. We service every major AED brand, even if you bought your AED somewhere else.
